KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT MARKET PLACE 2010

at Bath University

The University of Bath and the UK Council for Electronic Business (UKCeB) are hosting the second Knowledge Management Marketplace (KMM10), taking place at the University of Bath on 17th June 2010. The focus of this year’s event is upon realisable Knowledge Management, how to conduct such work in an affordable, achievable and scalable manner.

The event builds upon the success of KMM09 ( http://www.bath.ac.uk/idmrc/event/km_market ) , bringing together industry, defence and academia to address key issues in knowledge management. The centre-piece of the event is the marketplace, where delegates are encouraged to host stands to display their knowledge management successes, in order to foster debate and exchange ideas. Feedback from KMM09 has been incorporated, with a ‘bandstand’ area providing a forum for stand-holders to present their work to the audience to encourage greater interaction within the marketplace. This marketplace is preceded by scene-setting keynotes, and followed by a panel session where issued raised throughout the day may be debated in a group setting.

A website has been created to provide details of the event, which will be periodically updated: http://kmm.org.uk/

Full details of this years event, including registration, will be made available on this event website, in the meantime interested parties should contact Matt Giess (matt.giess@ukceb.org) to register interest or with specific queries.

We would happy to speak to anyone interested in closer association with this event.
